Like with Thor #355, Buscema is going a good job of mimicking Simonson's style while still giving us Sal Buscema style goblins and the like, and the art isn't bad at all.

Big fan of this clean UI for value tracking comics. Baldr (also Balder, Baldur) is a god in Germanic mythology. In Norse mythology, Baldr (Old Norse: ) is a son of the god Odin and the goddess Frigg, and has numerous brothers, such as Thor and Váli. With a cover and full page ad drawn by Simonson, i hope people weren't too disappointed to find Sal Buscema on interior art. Comics Balder the Brave 16 sale records 7 available Nov 1985 Balder the Brave 1 6 sale records 2 available Dec 1985 Balder the Brave 2 3 sale records 2 available Mar 1986 Balder the Brave 3 2 sale records 1 available May 1986 Balder the Brave 4 Shoutout to gocollect. I don't know how it was decided which characters would get a series, but considering some of the choices (Jack of Hearts, Rocket Raccoon, Gargoyle) i guess it's not too weird for Balder the Brave to get his own maybe Marvel was testing the possibility of a Thor spin-off title in the wake of Simonson's success. In 1985, the mini-series was still a relatively new and rare thing.
